About our presenters:

Cookie Break with Jake:

“Jacob is an autistic entrepreneur with an amazing talent for bringing joy through cookies.
Our cookie story started over 10 years ago when he helped bake cookies for his swim team’s concession stand. The cookies grew to have an incredible cult following.
The other branch of our business project was born out of a trip to New Orleans. While in the Philadelphia airport- we noticed stares and glances from TSA officials. We all realized that the majority of the general public may not understand his neurodiversity. Our advocacy training was born.
We provide disability awareness training for anyone- free of cost for non-profits and first responder organizations. Jacob delivers first-hand knowledge and experience that everyone can benefit from.
The beginning of 2025 we decided to make the cookie dream come alive! We partner with a local licensed food establishment to create the magic. Jacob is “Changing the world one chip at a time.”

Jake’s Baristas

“Jake's Baristas aims to help teens and adults with special needs gain work and interview experience, social skills, and resume building. Through employment education, entrepreneurship and grassroots philanthropy, we plan to eliminate common barriers to success that typically affect those with special needs. With these fundamental and foundational pillars, the individuals we serve will see increased opportunity in meaningful jobs and workplace experiences. We are focused on the aspirations of people and communities we serve, as we fulfill Jake's Baristas' primary mission through our core values: compassion, transparency, and generosity.”
