Join us as we welcome Families CCAN Community member Áine Smalley, who will be sharing her story about navigating supports and services for her transition-age son, Kieran.  

After Áine's presentation, we will have a community conversation to share thoughts, ideas, and resources for the journey to adulthood and greater independence.  

About our presenter:

"My name is Áine Smalley, and I live in Chester County with my husband Terry and son, Kieran, who is 19 and has Williams syndrome. Kieran is finishing his senior year in high school, and we are actively navigating his transition into adulthood. Professionally, I work at a multinational medical device company while also dedicating time to volunteering and advocacy in the disability space. A sabbatical I took a few years ago helped me prepare for this transition, and I’d like to share some of the insights and lessons we’ve learned along the way."
